The Union Church hosts programs and offers diverse services to meet the needs of our Island Community.

Our MINISTRIES

  • WORSHIP SERVICES

    Sunday service at 11am Eastern. Please join in person or on Zoom.

  • PASTORAL CARE

    Reverend Captain Jeffrey Lewis offers provides support and positive guidance.

  • WEDDINGS & EVENTS

    The church is available to rent for events. Please call Candi Barton 207.863.2001.

  • FUNERALS

    The Union Church is available to support your family service. Please contact us.

  • MEALS ON WHEELS

    The church’s ‘Meals on Wheels’ program delivers food to the local community.

  • LUNCHBOX DELIVERY

    Join us for a community home-cooked meal. 11:30AM Mondays. *Delivery only.

  • FOOD PANTRY

    Located just inside the downstairs doors, anyone can take what they need.

  • BEAN SUPPERS

    Bean Suppers are a long-standing Maine tradition, enjoyed here for years.

  • PET FOOD PANTRY

    We all love our pets! Our pet food pantry is open at the same time as our food pantry.

  • CHILDREN'S SUNDAY SCHOOL

    Each Sunday from 9:30am-10:30am we explore and play music, singing, and we teach Christian and community values.

  • JINGLE BELLS CHRISTMAS FUND

    Each year, the Union Church provides | donates winter clothing to island children. In 2022 we supported 44 island children.

  • SUNSHINE COMMITTEE BASKETS

    In December, we deliver approximately ninety fresh fruit and cookie ‘Sunshine Baskets’ to the elderly community.

  • CHOIR & MUSIC

    Every Friday from 3-4pm. Please join us. Singers welcome!
